During St. Patrick's Day, I drew quite a lot...

I'm in Charge Now... (3/17/12)

Then of course, I found myself drawing more Doctor Who art.

This time, for the episode, The God Complex.

I drew the minotaur, which feeds off of people's faiths in order to live. The creepy bit about the episode is how in each room of this 1980's hotel, someone's fear/nightmare is stored inside.

Annnyway, just to catch back up with blogging, here's what I've been up to:

Life-related:

My sister, Court, and I made Weeping Snow Angels.

It had to be done.

It just had to be.

And my older sister greeted Cloud, the neighborhood cat, in her normal way...

Animation Related:

I participated in a MEP. A MEP is where multiple people get together and animate a portion of a project, later putting it together for a finished production. Here's my half of the MEP. No audio, sorry.

And did a one-hour-animation challenge. :)

Art related:

Nerds.

Sharks, Stingrays, and Psychics.

Stingrays are lovely. So gentle. So docile. You stroke their backs, and they inch closer. And then they scoop up onto the surface to touch you.
Touch you.
I love those little devils. I got to pet some, along with sharks.
The sharks made me feel a little edgy, on account of how they'd swoop in and out of grasp unexpectedly. It would drive you to think they were plotting something.
Against you.

Gahh!
Scary.
So, after that shark-stroking and sting-ray-petting, I took some pictures.
And my mom took some too.
And all the fish were very attracted to me.
They're practically checking me out in this image.
Right?

Oh, Psychics.
New season of Psych this October.

Inspired? :D

I totally want to have an animation done that resembles this by the end of the year. Yep, I'm going to need a lot of practice. Not necessarily spelling "google," but of course, something visually stunning like this. Plus, I've never wanted to participate in game development any more than right now. (A large portion of my younger life was devoted to 'ideas for web games.' Now, I cant stop thinking of them.)
Twirling around a couple structures to preview the final production of these... things.


Yeah... if I want to get anywhere close to these things in the future, I'll have to get to work. As of now? :D
